Making sure you get the support you need
Each elderly person is an individual, and for each resident at Burrell Mead an individual assessment is made of your needs, so that your care is carefully tailored. This can cover:
Mobility
Medication
Disabilities
Dietary
Peoples' needs change over time, and our staff ensure that care plans are regularly checked, discussed with you, and updated where necessary.
We can provide short term respite care as well as long term residential care, and again this is worked out with you and your family.
We have a modern computerised care management system that ensures staff always have accurate information for each resident.
And we arrange various activities through the week which you can choose to take part in - more details below:
.
Every July our annual Garden Party in the grounds. Family and friends join our residents and staff for outdoor refreshements and entertainment.
It's always sunny!
Staff and residents enjoy the stalls at our garden fete
Everyone enjoys the Christmas Party with festive food and cheer
Our staff organise occasional days out for groups of residents
Coffee mornings, concerts, pet visits...
We aim to have a spiritual ethos to our home. Our board is made up of members of local churches and we aim to have a Sunday worship service each week. Our local Catholic priest also comes in regularly.
Burrell Mead is a Not-for-Profit Organisation. We own our own buildings, so residents' fees are channelled directly into providing the best care possible at an affordable rate
